DIY T-Shirt Tote Bags

As Food Bank of Iowa mobilizes to meet the increased need for food, we are in need of bags to support the mobile pantries and school distributions that have adapted via drive-thru models. Food Bank of Iowa is in need of bags and YOU can help. Click HERE to read more about how to to create a t-shirt tote bag and donate it to Food Bank of Iowa.

DIY Face Masks

Our drivers are on the road and our mobile pantries, as well as our partner agencies, are operational. This wouldn’t be possible without our volunteers. Face masks are another way to keep every one safe and make it possible to serve hungry Iowans in need. Click HERE for more information on how to create a face mask.

BackPack Program Inspiration Cards

Over 5,000 notecard sized inspirational messages are placed in the weekly BackPack sacks Food Bank of Iowa sends home with children through our programming each week. We provide boxes of BackPack sacks to partner schools every week. Teachers and other school staff distribute the bags to kids in need every Friday. Want to create inspirational messages for kids and their families? Click HERE for more instructions!
