Home \ Metallica Day

Wednesday, May 23, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Join us for a special volunteer event where you will work to the sounds of rock legends Metallica. Food banks across the country are participating in a special day of volunteer service encouraged by the members of Metallica, who are stalwart supporters of the Feeding America network of food banks. Help us feed Iowans in need by sorting food, all while we bang our heads to songs like “For Whom the Bell Tolls,” “Enter Sandman,” and “Seek & Destroy.”

All volunteers are entered to win a Metallica CD catalog!
