For children, the holidays inspire thoughts of gingerbread houses, hot cocoa, and big, festive dinners. But these traditions aren’t always an option for families facing food insecurity.

This time of year, our most vulnerable neighbors are faced with hard decisions. Even the neighbors who work multiple jobs to try and make ends meet run the risk of having to choose between keeping the heat on and buying groceries – between prescriptions and daycare. If you were in this position, what would YOU choose?

Please you make a gift today to Food Bank of Iowa to ensure neighbors experiencing hunger have enough to eat this holiday season.

Thank you in advance for your kindness.
