What is Combat Hunger? The mission of Combat Hunger is to increase awareness of Iowa's critical hunger problem, and through that awareness activate and facilitate community wide involvement in a massive food and fund drive in support of the Food Bank of Iowa. The objective of this drive is to provide food to feed hungry Iowans during the harsh winter months.

Combat Hunger is an annual Call to Action to remember there are children, working families and seniors struggling to make ends meet. Combat Hunger is a two day event where thousands can show they care.

• Begin your food drive in early November.
